Privacy Policy

The short version: Wird stores two things — your email address and your memorization progress. There are no ads, no third-party trackers, and your data is never sold or shared. That's the whole story; the rest of this page just says it slowly.
What we collect
Your account. An email address and a password. The password is handled by our authentication provider (Supabase) and we never see it in plain text.
Your memorization data. Which pages you are memorizing, your review history and grades, your streak, and your app settings. This is the data that lets Wird schedule your reviews and restore your progress on a new device.
That is all. Wird does not collect your location, contacts, photos, or anything else on your device, and does not profile your behavior for advertising.
The Quran stays on your device
The complete mushaf is bundled inside the app. Your reading happens locally — no page you open is reported anywhere. The only Quran-related data that leaves your device is your own review log, which exists so your schedule can follow you across devices.
How your data is used
To schedule your reviews, sync your progress between your devices, and — if you write to us — to answer you. Nothing else. We do not sell data, share it with advertisers, or use third-party analytics services.
Where your data lives
Your account and progress are stored with Supabase, our managed database and authentication provider. Data is encrypted in transit, and every row is protected by row-level security — your account can read only your own records.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from inside the app (Settings → Delete my account), or by emailing hello@getwird.com from your account address — we will erase everything within 30 days, usually much sooner. Full instructions are at getwird.com/delete-account.
Children
Wird is suitable for all ages and collects the same minimal data from everyone: an email address and memorization progress. We do not knowingly collect anything more from anyone.
This website
getwird.com is a static site. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no third-party resources — even the fonts are served from this domain.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated date. We won't weaken your privacy quietly.
